Future Engineers Take Note: Entrance Exams in the air!
Following an announcement issued by the Cameroon Minister of State, Minister Higher Education, Chancellor of Academic Orders, Professor Jean Fame Ndongo on the 16th of May 2024,
A competitive Entrance Examination for The National School of Engineering-Polytechnic, Douala and the top notch Bilingual Sub Regional University Institute, Agenla Academy, Yaounde (AA) was launched for first year and 3rd year intakes.
In this program, Agenla Academy is the Yaounde arm of the National School of Engineering, Polytechnic Douala.
This program is a significant initiative aimed at developing future leaders in engineering in innovative fields.
This five-year program is designed to cultivate top-class engineers equipped to lead innovations across various fields. The program aims to provide rigorous academic training and practical skills necessary to meet the challenges of modern industries and technological advancements.
Eligibility and Application Details:
– For first year intakes, Applicants must meet the following criteria: GCE Advanced Level in 4 Science subjects including Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry, or a Baccalaureate Science Series.
For 3rd year intakes, Applicants must have one of the following: Bachelor’s Degree in Sciences, Engineering Technician Diploma ( Ingenieur des travaux ), Brevet de Technicien Supérieur (BTS) in the desired field of study, Higher National Diploma (HND) in the desired field of study, University Technology Diploma (Diplôme de Technologie Universitaire) (DUT) in Sciences, Diploma of General Studies (Diplôme d’Etude Général) (DEUG) in the Sciences and any other equivalent Diploma recognized by the Cameroon Ministry of Higher Education in Cameroon
– Application forms can be accessed online at www.agenlaacademy.com or directly from the admissions office at Agenla Academy, Yaoundé.
Registration for the competitive exam is done online on the ENSPD website at www.enspd-udo . Access to the registration link is also available on the Agenla Academy website. The application files include the following documents:
Registration charges are a non-refundable sum of FCFA 20,000, to be paid into the Polytechnic Douala UBA bank account number 0100500000287 or through Western Union, with receipts attached to the submission file.
Examination Schedule:
– The entrance examination will be held on Sunday, 28th July 2024, from 8:00 am at the main campus of Agenla Academy in Yaoundé, the main campus of Polytechnic Douala, and other venues. For aspirants wishing to write the examination in Yaoundé, it is indeed possible. Just make sure you choose Agenla Academy as your examination center.

**Kindly note that this competitive entrance exam is also open to aspiring candidates awaiting Advanced Level results for first year Engineering entrance and those awaiting results for 3rd year admissions.
